That City Near Hickory, NC

It was another glorious reunion this week.  I was able to catch up with my o’l college roomy Tyler Deaton and perform a show at his Church, Bridge 42 Church in Morganton, NC.  This church has it all.  Hip pastors, apple products, chuck taylors, iPhones, and hair products.  One of my favorite moments was when I asked “What do you guys like to do for fun around here?”, and one girl simply answered “Hickory”.  Her answer was actually the bigger city down the road.  Deaton hasn’t changed much, aside to the two children he has.  He’s still the rockstar fine hip dresser I remember from college.  And he still eats only raw organic from the dirt farm food like a caveman.  I was able to snap a screen shot of it from Facebook.  A big thanks to Bridge 42 Church, and their Pastor Paul.  Best part?  We were able to raise some funds for missions.
