Loves Me Some Lumberton

I had an awesome time performing for Debbie Townsend and all her employees.  Debbie and her husband run a few daycares, a cell phone store, and a construction company.  However, when Debbie was presented with Lumberton’s small business person of the year award, her first words were “Employees are what make or break a company, we are careful and selective with who we hire and it shows.  I owe it all to the people who work with me.”  I notices she said “with” not “for”.

After a delicious dinner provided to all the employees, I took the helm and brought some laughter.  It was a great time.  Thanks to Debbie and her husband Ray and congrats to them on a great fiscal year.  Also to Larry Weaver for hooking the gig up.

I think this was technically a Karaoke Machine…
