What an incredible time in Naples Florida at Tree of Life Church.  Before I say anything, let me first say how wonderful Tree of Life Church is.  I have never seen a more welcoming, spirit filled community that has their doors so open to the homeless, poor, and broken.

A good time was had by all the at the Volunteers Appreciation Dinner.  And man do these Volunteers deserve it!  I learned throughout the evening just how much each volunteer gives of them self every week so that Church can function.  I was honored to be a part of their evening and bring some laughter.

Pastor Andrew, Renee,  and Nikki were all awesome to hang out with.  But I think my favorite was Dave.  Dave is a former state swamp overseer or something, and used to literally wrestle and handle alligators.  He now volunteers in the Nursery.  He and I had a long pleasant dinner conversation about gun ownership and how someday they may decide to take away guns, but they’ll never get his.

A big thanks goes out to Joyce Schneider who put the whole event together and who continues to make sure the gears are a-movin’ at Tree of Life Church.  Joyce made sure I was comfortable and familiar with all the Church Facts and inside-knowings.  She made feel a more welcome than Jesus at a Christmas party.  A big thanks and shout out to Larry Weaver Entertainment for hooking up the gig.  Praise the Lord!
