{"id":642,"date":"2012-08-27T03:18:35","date_gmt":"2012-08-27T03:18:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preview.cleangetawaycomedy.com\/?p=642"},"modified":"2012-08-27T03:27:15","modified_gmt":"2012-08-27T03:27:15","slug":"performing-at-belmont-abbey-college-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cleangetawaycomedy.com\/?p=642","title":{"rendered":"Performing at Belmont Abbey College!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Belmont Abbey College is beautiful. \u00a0It feels like a Castle. \u00a0I felt like I was at Hogwarts, but also the opposite of Hogwarts, because it was a Catholic College. \u00a0 It was like someone crossed Downton Abbey with Wayne Manor, thats what it felt like.<\/p>\n<p>Performing for the student body there was great! \u00a0It was harder to see me, because there was no stage, I&#8217;m short, and that probably made it hard for some of the students to see. \u00a0But I&#8217;m convinced it didn&#8217;t hurt the show that much. \u00a0The crowd was great, an their Student Activities Director (or SAD) was wonderful to work with. \u00a0The event was part of the schools &#8220;Welcome-Back&#8221; week to help kick off the new school year. \u00a0Better yet, I was able to re-unite with my old band mate Tyler Thompson who came down to re-vamp our college rock folk indy factory metal electronica christian parody comedy group band known as Short and Sweet. \u00a0Needless to say, we changed Christian Rock history once again. \u00a0Not since DC Talk&#8217;s &#8220;Nu Thang&#8221; album has God been so pleased with music. \u00a0Thanks to Tom and Larry Weaver Entertainment for hooking the gig up.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_643\" style=\"width: 501px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/preview.cleangetawaycomedy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_14751.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-643\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-643  \" title=\"IMG_1475\" src=\"https:\/\/preview.cleangetawaycomedy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_14751-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"369\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cleangetawaycomedy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_14751-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cleangetawaycomedy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_14751-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-643\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Red Bulls on Parade!
