Dallas was amazing! \u00a0Apparently, even though I was living in the area from when I was born to when I was 3, I some how couldn’t remember what a beautiful city Dallas was. \u00a0However, I didn’t need to ask the audience what they did for fun in the area, it was obvious; Build useless winding roads. \u00a0Halfway there, my GPS was like “yeah, I give up. \u00a0You’re on your own”.<\/p>\n

I was honored to be a part of the marriage conference “Still…”. \u00a0When The Springs Fellowship Pentecostal Church does a marriage conference, they do it right. \u00a0It was held at the amazing Adolphus Hotel (http:\/\/www.hoteladolphus.com\/) in the middle of the city. \u00a0They had smooth jazz, dim lighting, and enough cheesecake to feed an army. \u00a0Pastor Spears and his wife Peggy were some of the most wonderful people to work with. \u00a0Pastor Spears even provided some constructive heckling that helped carry the improve portion of my set.<\/p>\n

Me: \u00a0I always feel like when I talk about my wife, I need to mention… \u00a0My wife is hotter than me-<\/p>\n

Pastor Spears: \u00a0Makes sense…<\/p>\n

Me: \u00a0Oh well, Pastor Spears thank you for relating. \u00a0From where I am standing, I can see you are in the same situation.<\/p>\n

A big thanks to Pastor Spears and his Wife Peggy, they are by far the only, yet coolest and most fun Pentecostals I have ever met. \u00a0Also to Melinda, the Grimes’ daughter who put most of the event on and hired me. \u00a0It was good to be in the motherland, and I hope to make it back there someday.<\/p>\n
