For this gig(s) I was able to knock off a few items on the Comedy Bucket-List. \u00a0Featuring at Comedy Cabana was AWESOME. \u00a0Not only did I get to work along side the hilarious Patty Vasquez, but I got to spend the week in Myrtle Beach with my bud Zinger.<\/p>\n

It was a 5 day, 7 show spot, and each night brought a different crowd and different challenges. \u00a0Sometimes the crowd was old, or young, or drunk, or ready to talk back. \u00a0It was definitely \u00a0an adventure and a great way to grow and experience stand-up. \u00a0There was no night, however, that wasn’t fun.<\/p>\n

At this club, you are required to do a few radio spots as well, which is nothing less than a spectacular time. \u00a0On Wednesday and Friday, we appeared on the T and A Morning Show on Rock 105.5 Wilmington and 104.1 Myrtle Beach with Tommy and Abbie. \u00a0Live airwaves are similar to a stage crowd, but a little more laid back. \u00a0Tommy and Abbie were fun to hang out with and a blast to be around.<\/p>\n

The headliner I got to work with was incredible. \u00a0Patty Vasquez (http:\/\/lipstick.pattivasquez.com<\/a>) is what I like to call “Tough-Crowd Proof”. \u00a0We had 90% great crowds this week. \u00a0But even on the tough nights, Patty could really bring it home, EVERY TIME. \u00a0It inspired you and made you mad at the same time to watch her. \u00a0She was friendly, helpful, and down right cool. \u00a0She’s going to get even bigger than she already is, so keep an eye out, you will be hearing about her.<\/p>\n

Finally, the best part of the week, barely had to do with comedy. \u00a0I so rarely get to bring my wife along when I do comedy because it is so far away or because of conflicting schedules. \u00a0But this weekend, I lucked out big time. \u00a0Elizabeth was able to come down and see me perform. \u00a0We also got to keep a few Myrtle Beach traditions, and let Zinger run around on the beach. \u00a0All in all people, this was a great \u00a0week of comedy and life.<\/p>\n
