Kings Mountain, NC is a great place.  It’s remote, quiet, and so safe that they decorate their fire hydrants out of boredom from not having any emergencies.

This show almost didn’t happen!  The very nice lady who hired me for the event accidentally gave me her home address instead of the Church address.  When I pulled up to her house, I could only think “This is one of those home churches, like the first Christians.”  Then I realized it was just a home, and finally got a hold of someone for directions to the church.

So I thought, “well that was crazy”.  Then, when I walked into the “Festival of Tables” at Freedom Christian Baptist Church, the first thing I saw was the Gun Themed Table, which used shotguns and assault rifles as their center piece.

All in all, it was a real fun night.  The crowd was great, and the event was a success.  Lots and lots of funds were raised for the mission work the church will be doing.  A big thanks to Chrissy Brown who set the whole event up and selected me for the gig, and to Larry Weaver Entertainment for hooking things up.

This girl came up to me after the show and said “I want to be a comedian!”. So we practiced some comedic poses.
